Director By-Election Notice and call for candidates to seek election

By resolution of the directors, the Gnaala Karla Booja Aboriginal Corporation (ICN 9603) is seeking an experienced and skilled Corporation member to become a Director.

A ballot is scheduled to open on 24 February 2025 for one (1) Director Position; to be elected by the Members of the Corporation. All GKB members will be mailed an Election Package.

The nomination period for the above positions will commence on 5 December 2024 and will close on 27 December 2024 at 5:00pm.

Trust Advisory Committee

Under the Gnaala Karla Booja Native Title Charitable Trust (Trust), Gnaala Karla Booja Aboriginal Corporation (GKBAC) can recommend the nomination of 5 – 7 GKB People to be members of a Trust Advisory Committee.

The deadline for nominations is 5pm on Monday, 23 December 2024.

Members will be invited to vote for their preferred candidate, via postal vote, in February 2025.
