Yorga Ranger Coordinator
The Yorga Ranger Program plays a crucial role in the conservation and management of natural resources in the GKB region of south west Western Australia. This position involves a combination of supervising a team of Rangers in fieldwork, community engagement, and environmental education, aimed at preserving the unique biodiversity across land, freshwater, and marine ecosystems.
It’s a full-time permanent role, based in Bunbury with travel required across the Gnaala Karla Booja region.
Under Section 50D of the Equal Employment Opportunity Act, Aboriginality is considered an essential criterion. Gnaala Karla Booja members are encouraged to apply.
Under Section 27(1) of the Equal Employment Opportunity Act, a Female gender is considered an essential criterion.
