Important Update for Our Members

The GKB Charitable Trust has recently begun distributing benefits to eligible GKB members, including Seniors Payments and other forms of assistance. This is positive news, and we want to help ensure members understand how the process works.

It is important to note that the GKB Charitable Trust, including all payments and decisions, is administered by AET as the Trustees, not by the GKB Corporation. While GKB is always committed to supporting our members wherever we can, we do not have the authority to manage, access, or resolve Trust payment matters.

We understand that the Seniors Payment process can feel confusing, emotional, and at times overwhelming, particularly for members who may already be facing challenging circumstances. We appreciate your patience and want you to know that your concerns are heard and respected. 

For this reason, all enquiries, concerns, or issues relating to Seniors Payments must be directed to AET, as they are the Trustees responsible for administering the Trust.

While we are unable to intervene in Trust payment decisions, GKB will always do our best to support members with guidance, understanding, and compassion. Where possible, we are happy to help explain processes or point you in the right direction. 

We also kindly remind everyone that our staff and volunteers deserve to be treated with respect. We understand that frustrations can arise; however, disrespectful or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
