Indigenous Pre-Apprentice Scholarships
Newmont Boddington Gold (NBG) are offering two Pre-Apprentice Scholarships for Noongar students at South Metropolitan or South Regional Tafe.
The opportunities are linked to trade areas in NBG’s annual apprenticeship program intake.
Courses in this opportunity include:
Electrical
Fabrication
Mechanical Fitting
Auto Electrical
Diesel Fitting.
Other courses which may be seen to benefit the Noongar community in the GKB region may also be considered, such as: Land Care Management, Health Care, Nursing, Aged Care, Mental Health, Counseling, Information Technology, Operational Technology, and Education.
The scholarship covers Tafe fees plus $500 towards study costs.
